“Iran attack may be next in Trump’s farewell bag of tricks” by Trita Parsi in ResponsibleStatecraft.org, is a well documented report of Trump’s preparations for war in the waning days of his time in the White House. The author, Trita Parsi, grew up in Sweden and began his career as a Swedish diplomat, before settling in the U.S. and becoming an expert on Iranian-American relations. I should add that I’ve met Parsi, read his books and have a great deal of respect for him. Sadly, Trump has been one of those would-be dictators who would gladly sacrifice people’s lives for his own political career. I’d take Parsi’s comments quite seriously.
